Fruit filling (may used any canned or homemade fruit pie filling) Add water to mix. Stir 20-25 strokes. Turn onto lightly floured board and knead about 15 times. Roll dough thin as for pie crust. Cut into circles about 5-inches across. Place 2 Tbsp. of filling on half of each circle, keeping away from outer edge. Fold dough over and press edges firmly with fork dipped in flour. Seal edges so fat can't seep in. Fry in deep, hot vegetable oil or shortening (350 degrees) for 3 minutes. Turn once. Makes 6 pies.
