Quick Apple Pie

2 cans apple pie filling (spiced)
1/2 box yellow cake mix
3/4 stick butter, melted
1/2 cup broken pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease lightly, bottom and sides of 1 and 1/2 to 2 quart pyrex baking dish. Cover the bottom with apples. Sprinkle dry cake mix over apples. Pour melted butter over cake mix. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake for 45 minutes. Take out before nuts get parched. Cut into squares. Goes well with vanilla ice cream.
