GINGER COOKIES

Cream together:
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter or margarine

Add:
2 eggs beaten well
1 tablespoon baking soda dissolved
1 cup molasses in 1/2 cup lukewarm water

Mix well and add:
1 teaspoon lemon flavor
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 teaspoon ginger
1 pinch of salt

Mix well and add 2 cups of flour. Add another 5 cups flour or until dough can be handled. Roll out and cut in desired shapes.
Bake at 375.
