16 cups of fresh apple sauce
(use 7 large apples cored and peeled, 2 cups of water and
boil apples until well done, then push through a sieve)
3 lbs. brown sugar
1 cup of apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons of powdered cinnamon
1 cup crushed pineapples
Combine all ingredients and bake at 350 for 3 hours.
Stir every 20 minutes or so. Pour into jars and seal.
Yields 5 quarts. Great on toast!
