Black Bottom Cupcakes

1 - 8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. chocolate chips
Beat first 3 ingredients well. Stir in chocolate chips.

2 ¼ c. flour
1 ½ c. sugar
6 Tbl. Cocoa
1 ½ tsp. baking soda
1 ½ c. water
1/3 c. plus 3 Tbl. Oil
1 ½ Tbl. Vinegar
1 ½ tsp. vanilla

Beat above ingredients until well mixed. Fill lined cupcake tins 1/3 full of chocolate batter. Top batter with heaping tablespoon of cream cheese mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes.
