Cranberry-Orange Nut Bread
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 cups orange juice
1 tablespoon orange zest grated
3 cups Bisquick. baking mix
3/4 cup nuts chopped
1 cup cranberries
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Spray a 9-inch loaf with nonstick cooking spray.
Mix sugar, egg, orange juice, rind and Bisquick baking mix. Beat vigorously 30 seconds. Batter may be lumpy.
Stir in nuts and cranberries.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until bread tests done.
Remove loaf from pan and cool before slicing.
Makes 1 loaf.
