2 cp blueberries -- fresh or frozen
1/2 cp water
1/3 cp sugar
2 teaspoons lime juice -- or lemon juice

In a medium saucepan combine 1 cup of the blueberries, the water, sugar & lime or lemon juice.

Cook & stir over medium heat for 2 to 3 minues or until sugar dissolves. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat & simmer, uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.

Stir in the remaining 1 cup blueberries & cook, stirring occasionally, 2 to 3 minutes more or until blueberries become soft. Serve warm.

Cover & refrigerate remaining syrup for up to 1 week. OR put in canning
jars & process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
