Chiffon Waffles

2 eggs
1 cup milk
2 1/3 cups Bisquick
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup salad oil or melted shortening

In small mixer bowl, beat eggs on high speed 5 minutes or until fost peaks form. Stir in milk. Stir in bisquick and sugar until mixture is thoroughly dampened. Gently fold in oil. Spoon batter onto heated waffle iron. Bake until steaming stops. Makes about 3 9-inch waffles.

Bacon Wallfes
Place short strips of bacon over grids of waffel iron; bake 1 minute. Drain bacon drippins from waffle iron; pour batter over cooked bacon.

Blueberry Waffles
Stir 1 teaspoon sugar into batter. Gently fold in 1 cup fresh, partially thawed frozen or drained canned blueberries. Distribute berries and batter evenly over waffel grids.

Banana Waffles
Stir 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 cup mashed ripe banana into batter. Serve waffles with currant jelly or sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Nut Waffles
Stir 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans, peanuts or walnuts into batter.

Spicy Waffles
Stir 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon each allspice, cloves and nutmeg into batter. Serve waffles with sweetened applesauce.
