Dump Cake

1 box white cake mix
1 large can cherry pie filling
3 sticks of butter

Dump cherrys into baking pan. Top with cake mix. DO NOT mix the cake mix. Leave it dry!!! Slice butter lenghtwise into thin strips. Place butter on cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minute or until golden brown.
