Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
In large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add butter, sour cream, eggs and vanilla; beat on medium speed of electric mixer 3 minutes. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely. Transfer cake to serving plate. Frost with ONE-BOWL BUTTERCREAM FROSTING. Decorate cake to resemble greeting card. 12 to 15 servings.
ONE-BOWL BUTTERCREAM FROSTING
- 6 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
- 2-2/3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
- 4 to 5 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In medium bowl, beat butter until creamy. Gradually add sugar and cocoa alternately with milk and vanilla, beating until of spreading consistency. About 2 cups frosting.
