Original Green Bean Casserole
- 2 can (1 lb each) cut green beans drained or 2 pkg (8-oz each) frozen cut green beans
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 can (10 3/4-oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 can (2.8-oz) french fried onion
Combine beans, milk, pepper and 1/2 can french fried onions; pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through.
Top with remaining onions; bake, uncovered, 5 minutes or until onions are golden brown.
MICROWAVE: Prepare as above. Pour into microwave-safe 1 1/2 quart dish. Cook, covered, on high 8-10 minutes; turn and stir half-way through. Top with remaining onions, cook, uncovered, on high 1 minute. Let stand 5 minutes.
