CHINESE BROCCOLI
2 lbs. broccoli, trimmed of stalks
1/2 cup butter
1 teas. salt
pepper to taste
1 can water chestnuts
2 Tbs. onion, minced
2 Tbs. soy sauce
Cut broccoli into serving pieces. Cook in a small amount of water until tender; drain. Melt butter; add salt and pepper, water chestnuts and
onion.
Cook over medium heat 2-3 minutes. Add lemon juice and soy sauce. Tossbroccoli with sauce and heat thoroughly.
