BAKED SAUERKRAUT


4 slices bacon, diced
1/3 C. onion, diced
1/3 C. firmly packed brown sugar
1 15 oz. can stewed tomatoes
1 16 oz. can sauerkraut, drained

Saut bacon and onion; drain but retain 3 T. of the drippings. Add frown sugar, tomatoes and sauerkraut; mix lightly. Put into a 9" square baking dish and bake at 350 of about 2 hours.

This is very good with roast pork or baked ham.
