3 BEAN BAKE
1 can baked beans
1 can green lima beans or butter beans
1 can kidney beans
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped bell pepper
1 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. catsup
1/4 c. barbecue sauce
1/4 c. . brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 lb. bacon, cut In sm. pieces, sauteed
Mix and bake at 350* for 30-45 minutes.

SWEET AND SOUR CARROTS
2 T vegetable oil
1 slice fresh gingerroot
1 lb. carrots, sliced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 C chicken broth
1 T vinegar
1/2 T brown sugar
2 tsp. cornstarch in 2 T cold water
1/2 C canned pineapple chunks
Heat oil in wok or skillet. Brown and discard ginger slice.
Stir fry carrots 1 min.
Add salt and broth; cover.
Steam over moderate heat 5 minutes.
Stir in vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch mixture and pineapple chunks; heat until sauce thickens.
Serve at once. 4 servings.
