Marinated Chicken Kabobs
1 cup vegetable oil
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup light corn syrup
¼ cup lemon juice
2 tbsp. sesame seeds
½ tsp. garlic powder
4 boneless skinless chicken
breast halves, cut into 1½ inch pieces
2 onions, quartered
1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
½ tsp. salt
In a medium bowl, blend vegetable oil, soy sauce, corn syrup, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt and sesame seeds. Place chicken in the mixture , cover and marinate in the refrigerator at least two hours. Preheat and outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil grate. Alternate chicken, mushrooms, onions and green peppers on metal skewers. Place on grill and cook 15 to 20 minutes, turning frequently and basting with remaining marinate mixture.
