1-2-3-4-5 Cinnamon Bread


12 ounces Vanilla cream soda
1/2 cup molasses
3 cups self-rising flour
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup brown sugar

In a medium bowl, mix all the ingredients, except the brown sugar, until well blended.
Pour the batter into a loaf pan that has been lightly coated with vegetable oil cooking spray.
Sprinkle with the brown sugar.
Bake for 50 minutes.

Variations:
Add 1 cup diced apples, 1/2 cup dates or 1/2 cup golden raisins to the batter.
