HOMEMADE PANCAKE SYRUP
2 Cp sugar
1 cp water
1 Tablespoon maple flavoring
In a medium saucepan combine sugar & water. Bring to boiling over
medium-high heat. Reduce heat & simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes. Remove
saucepan from heat & stir in maple flavoring. Serve warm or cool.
Mixture will thicken somewhat upon cooling. Cover & refrigerate remaining
syrup for up to 1 week. OR put in canning jar & process in boiling water
bath for 10 minutes.
