Bisquick Coffee Cake
1 coffee cake batter recipe (follows)
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 cup brown or granulated sugar
1 can (8 1/4 ounces) crushed pineapple,
drained well
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease square pan, 9 x 9 x 2-inches. Prepare
coffee cake batter; pour batter into prepared pan. Spread butter over
batter. Sprinkle sugar over top. Spoon pineapple over sugar; spread
evenly. Bake 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned. cut into
squares. 8 servings.
Basic Coffee Cake
2 cups new bisquick
2 tablespoons sugar
1 egg
2/3 cup cold water or milk
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease layer pan, 9 x 1 1/2 inches. Mix all
ingredients with spoon; beat vigorously 1/2 minute. Spread in prepared
Pan. Bake 20-25 minutes. For richer coffee cake, add 2 tablespoons
shortening, melted, or salad oil.
