Shortcakes
2 1/3 cups Bisbuick baking mix
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix all ingredients until soft dough forms.
Gently smooth dough into ball on lightly floured cloth-covered board.
knead 8-10 times. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick. Cut with floured 3-inch
cutter.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet until golden brown, 10-12
minutes.
Makes 6-8 shortcakes.
