Breakfast Casserole
8 ounces bulk pork sausage
6 cups white bread cut in cubes (about 8 slices)
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (6 ounces)
1 cups Pace Picante Sauce or Thick & Chunky Salsa
4 eggs
3/4 cup milk
In medium skillet over medium-high heat, cook sausage until browned,
stirring to seperate meat. Pour off fat. In 2-quart shallow baking
dish arrange sausage. Top with bread cubes and cheese. Mix picante
sauce, eggs and milk. Pour over bread and cheese to insure all bread is
moistened. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or overnight. Uncover. Bake
at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until
knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serves 6.
