Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies
- 1 1/4 cups margarine softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups peanut butter chips
Cream margarine and sugar until light and flufly. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; blend into cremed mixture. Stir in chips. Drop by teaspoonflils onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for 8 to 9 minutes. Do not overbake; cookies will be soft. They will puff while baking and flatten while cooking. Cool slightly and remove from cookie sheet, Yields 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
