DEVIL'S FOOD COOKIES
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. sour cream
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in chocolate. Sift together dry ingredients; add to chocolate mixture alternately with sour cream. Mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes (maybe 9). Frost . Yields 5 dozen.
