Butter Cookies

• 3/4 cup Butter softened
• 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
• 2 1/4 cup flour
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Mix butter & sugar......Beat egg in separate bowl....Mix beaten egg with butter & sugar mix Add flour SLOWLY.......Add vanilla before all flour is mixed in......Shape & divide into two balls Refrigerate for 1/2 hour. then roll out & cut......Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.....Bake 6 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet or until edges are golden brown......Remove imediately onto wire rack & let cool.
