Beer Puffs


1 cup beer
1/4 pound butter
1 cup sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 eggs
1( 7-ounce) can crabmeat

Bring beer and butter to boil. When butter melts, add flour and salt all at once. Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture leaves sides of pan.

Remove from heat; beat in 1 egg at a time until dough becomes shiny. Drop by teaspoonful 1 inch apart on buttered baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees F. Reduce to 350 degrees F.; bake to minutes longer, until browned and free from moisture. Cool, split, and fill with crabmeat of other favorite filling. Makes 60 - 80 small puffs.
