Vanilla Sauce

1 c. white sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 cups boiling water
4 tbsp. butter
2 tspl vanilla

Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
Add water and boil until thick or clear.
Add butter and vanilla.
