Make-A-Mix Cookie Mix

8 cups flour
2 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar, packed
4 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
3 cups vegetable shortening

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, brown sugar, salt and baking soda until well mixed. Cut in shortening until evenly distributed. Store in large airtight container. Label. Sore in a cool, dry place for up to 3 months. Makes about 16 cups of cookie mix.
