NOODLES WITH BREAD CRUMBS


1 (l2oz.) pkg. Reames frozen egg noodles
2 qts. boiling salted water
3 Tbsp. melted butter
1 small clove garlic, optional
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs

Add noodles to boiling salted water and cook until soft, about 15 minutes. Drain well, rinse with hot water. Turn noodles into warm serving dish and stir in 3 Tbsp. of melted butter; this will keep noodles from sticking to gether. Heat garlic in the second 3 Tbsp. of butter for a few minutes; discard garlic. Stir in bread crumbs and cook until golden. Spoon over noodles and serve hot. Serves 6-8.
