HOMEMADE CHICKEN POT PIE

2 chicken breasts
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can garden peas
1/2 c. of onions
3 potatoes, med size, diced
3 carrots, diced
Salt & pepper to taste
1 can of biscuits, your favorite kind

Place chicken in just enough water to cover it; add salt and pepper. Boil chicken until done, remove from water and let cool. While chicken is cooling, add onions to broth and cook on medium-low heat for a few minutes, then add potatoes and carrots; boil for 10 minutes. Add garden peas and cream of mushroom soup. Remove chicken from bone, discard skin, dice meat and add to broth and cook on medium-high heat 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Follow directions on biscuit can for preheating oven. Pour mixture into baking dish. Place biscuits over top and bake until biscuits are done.
