HOT POTATO SALAD


6--8 med. potatoes
3 T. melted butter
3/4 tsp. dry mustard
1-1/2 C. milk
1 tap. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. mayonnaise
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
1/2 C. chopped onion

Cook, cool and cube potatoes. Mix butter, mustard, salt, pepper and milk. Roil 1 minute then remove from heat and add mayonnaise and Velveeta cheese, cut up. Stir until melted, add 1/2 cup chopped onion. Pour over potatoes in ovenproof casserole dish. Bake 350* for 45-60 minutes.

Cabbage Salad


6 C. shredded cabbage
2 carrots, grated
1 Sm. onion, chopped or sliced thin
1 Sm. green pepper, chopped
1/4 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt

DRESSING:
1 c sugar
1/3 to 1/2 c. water
1/3 c vinegar (salad or tarragon)
1(3 oz.) pkg. lime jello

Pour 1/2 cup oil over first 7 ingredients Heat vinegar, water and sugar until boiling. Add Jello, then cool. Pour over cabbage. This salad keeps very well.
