Berries Salad
1 can strawberry pie filling
1 (8 oz.) container Cool whip
1 lb pkg cherry Jello
1 c hot water
1 c cold water
Make Jello with half the amount of water as package calls for. Combine Jello with pie filling and chill. Top with
Cool whip and garnish with strawberries. Mix well and pour into mold. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serve with crackers.

HOT POTATO SALAD
4 slices bacon, cut fine
2 T. onion, chopped
1/4 C. vinegar
2 T. water
3 T. sugar
1 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
3 C. potatoes, cooked and. cubed
1 T. parsley, cut fine
Fry bacon and onion, until bacon is cooked. Add vinegar, water, sugar and salt and cook 1 minute. Add potatoes, and parsley, and heat through.
VARIATION: Toss into 2 cups torn romaine lettuce.
