Spicy Citrus Dressing


1/4 cup lemon or lime juice
1 tablespoon salad oil
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, allspice, or cardamom
1/8 teaspoon paprika

In a screw top jar combine lemon or lime juice, oil, honey, cinnamon, allspice, or cardamom, and paprika.*
Cover and shake well.
Chill till serving time. Shake before serving.
Makes 7 servings (1 tablespoon each)



Creamy Salad Dressing


1/4 cup plain low fat yogurt
2 tablespoons reduced calorie mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 tablespoons skim milk
1 tablespoon snipped fresh parsley or chives
dash salt

In a small mixing bowl combine yogurt, mayonnaise, skim milk, parsley or chives, and salt.*
Makes 8 servings (1 tablespoon each).
*Note: If desired, add any of the following to the dressing: 1
teaspoon prepared horseradish; 1/4 teaspoon dried basil, oregano, or thyme, crushed; 1/4 teaspoon dried dillweed; or 1/8 teaspoon celery seed.
